This is by far the best Indian cuisine in the Kansas City area. It is a good thing my partner and I live 20 minutes away, otherwise we’d eat there every night. We get Moti pick up often, and it’s divine, but on the rare occasion we dine in, it’s somehow always even better. Truly a KC staple for us, I’m shocked more people don’t know about it. Worth every penny!!
Great Indian buffet. Everything is tasty and delicious. We when on a vacation trip a month ago and stopped by the Zona Rosa location. We figure it would be good with high ratings and it did not let don't. Probably the best buffet now since Korma Sutra on Metcalf is close. The naan and mango lassi comes to table and every thing else is self serve. Interesting thing I saw was that they accepted Bitcoin as a payment method.
Good food that's even better dining in. Not everything travels well, but fresh from the kitchen it is great. Picture is vegetarian dinner for 2 (lentil soup and samosa unpictured). Will be going back
My lunch was amazing!! The mango chutney that arrived with the samosas was the Best I've ever had. Craving satisfied!! And the atmosphere felt fresh and inviting.
Hands down the BEST Indian food in the city. So shocked I don't see folks in there for dinner. It is incredible! Wait staff is always kind as well. Garlic naan to die for!
I was very happy with both the quality of our food and service during our first visit to Moti Mahal in Westport, just a few days ago. We found a lot of vegan options on the menu and were impressed with the knowledgeable staff who were happy to accommodate. I've included a picture below from our takeout order - Samosas, Pakora, Chana Aloo, and Gobi Keema (from left to right). I'd also highly recommend the vegetable Kofta with coconut milk - not pictured, but my favorite dish we ordered. I'm already looking forward to returning!
This location is popular, and for good reason. The charming decor and ambiance of in-person dining is great. The food is delicate and delicious. The butter chicken is incredible, especially when paired with garlic naan and a lassi. I order delivery from this place at least once a week during Covid. It was comforting food that always arrived correct to the order.
Since I began trying Indian food last year, it is now a must have, and I agree with the folks that said they'd eat at Moti every night if they lived closer ! I have tried one other Indian restaurant which has been okay - but have found the seasoning & 'delicious-ness' & my FAV, Chicken Tikki Masala dish, keeps me coming back for more & thank owners for the customized carry out that meets my needs well, & is much appreciated ! I have also recommended Moti Mahal to others !
